FloatOps Studio is operated by QuickSoft Media. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean QuickSoft Media and the FloatOps Studio platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, use our services, or contact support. This includes:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and company details
- Operational data: flight records, guest bookings, staff profiles, and transport logs entered into the platform
- Usage data: how you interact with FloatOps Studio, including features used and actions taken
- Device information: device type, operating system, and app version when using the FloatOps Field mobile app
- Location data: GPS coordinates collected through the FloatOps Field app when the transport GPS feature is actively used
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve FloatOps Studio services
- Process bookings, manage flights, and coordinate transport operations
- Send operational push notifications to staff via Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account
- Monitor system health and prevent fraud or misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers located in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and implement access controls to limit who can access your information. Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2-SHA256 and are never stored in plain text.
FloatOps Studio uses a multi-tenant architecture. Each operator's data is stored in a separate database and is never shared with other tenants.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate the platform, including Firebase (Google) for push notifications, and OpenWeatherMap for weather data
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of FloatOps Studio and its users
5. Mobile App Permissions
The FloatOps Field Android app may request the following permissions:
- Location (foreground): Used to send GPS coordinates when a driver taps "Send Location" in the Transport screen. Not collected in the background.
- Push notifications: Used to send operational alerts to field staff. You can disable this in your device settings.
- Internet: Required to sync data with FloatOps servers and receive real-time updates.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for 90 days before deletion, giving you time to export records. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at quicksoft.media@gmail.com.
8. Cookies
The FloatOps Studio web application uses session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify account administrators of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
